Sara Savusa

Sara (she/her/hers) is a newly based NYC actor, improvisor, writer, and director after being in Chicago for ten years. She had the pleasure of working with comedy and children's theatres all over Chicago, including The Second City, iO Chicago, The Annoyance, The Revival, Comedy Sportz, Chicago Children's Theatre, Filament Theatre, and tap dancing with Matter Dance Company. She is currently on faculty and performs in the brand new Second City NY Training Center.

Sara is SAG/AFTRA eligible thanks to gigs on NCIS: Hawai`i, Mind Games, Hawai`i 5-0, and Lost. She sometimes likes to mentally kick herself in the nuts when she remembers she turned down a role in the Oscar award winning movie, The Descendants, due to scheduling.

Born in Texas, lived in Hawai`i, and with family in both places, she considers both home. When not performing, you can find her riding her bike, roller blading, and attempting to build up the courage to skateboard without holding on to a support.
